ACT is governed by a Corporate Board consisting of passionate and committed community, business, and civic leaders. The Board has two major purposes: (1) to set direction, and (2) to provide the necessary resources that will enable us to serve the youth’s needs.

Mr. Berset is an owner of Comegys Insurance Agency, which has been family owned since 1939 in

St. Petersburg, Florida. It has grown into one of the Top 100 independent agencies in the United States. Mr. Berset's expertise is providing the right insurance product for your needs. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. He currently serves on the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and St. Petersburg Young Professionals.

Mr. Harris holds a Doctorate in Jurisprudence from Mercer University School of Law, a Masters of Divinity from Candler School of Theology (Emory University), and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Religion from LaGrange College, where he graduated with honors.


Mr. Harris is the owner/attorney for Champions for Justice Attorney at Law in Tampa, Florida. He is also of Counsel with The Johnson Firm, P.C. in Statesboro, GA.  Harris is an Executive Board member of the George Edgecomb Bar Association, a member of the American Bar Association, serves on the Legal Redress Committee for the NAACP, serves as Assistant General Counsel for the Southwestern Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ in Florida, and serves as the Legal and Business Consultant for several church ministries and entertainment companies in the music industry.  

Ms. Reilly is a founding member of the St. Pete Glitter Queens, a non-profit devoted to women’s and children’s causes in the greater St. Petersburg area. Since its formation in 2011, the St. Pete Glitter Queens have raised over $100,000 for local charities. Ms. Reilly brings 15 years of leadership experience in event planning and fundraising to our organization. She enjoys reading, gardening, yoga, travel, and all things French. A Fulbright nominee, she received her M.A. in French from the University of Alabama. Ms. Reilly is committed to improving the lives of youth in underserved communities and believes deeply in the power of the arts to build community bridges.

Scott Allen has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Florida Southern College, with training in the social sciences. Scott is an entrepreneur, businessman, writer, artist, father of three magnificent sons, and a devoted husband to Donna. He is a practitioner of New Thought and his dedication to “ARKs” (Acts of Random Kindness) was documented in a television news segment. He is a charter member of The Burg Exchange Club, a winner of the District Presidents Award, and a recipient of the Key to the City of Madeira Beach based on his volunteerism in conjunction with Exchange Clubs efforts for the 9/11 Memorial.

Maria currently resides in Florida with her husband Jason B. Mozo, J.D. and their two beloved dogs. They are ecstatic to become first-time parents and start a family this year.

Maria is a licensed representative in the financial services industry. She graduated college with Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of South Florida and spends her free time giving back to charitable causes in the community. Philanthropy has always been a way of life for Maria and her family, so she was honored to get involved with this incredible organization and help better the lives of underprivileged, yet talented, children.

Lorna Taylor is the President and CEO of Premier Eye Care, a leading expert in national managed eye care that provides services and administration of everything from routine vision exams to complex ocular surgical procedures.
Taylor, one of the top business leaders in Florida, was the winner in the Health & Wellness category of the 2013 Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Business Woman of the Year awards, while also receiving Angie’s Award, given to the finalist who best exemplifies a commitment to community service. The award reflected Premier Eye Care’s far-reaching community involvement, which ranges from supporting arts and culture to the prevention of domestic violence. 
Taylor is a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary with a Master’s degree in Divinity, concentrating in Social Ethics. She lives in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she enjoys her three rescue pups, travel, art, and the vibrant cultural life of the Tampa Bay area.
